McIntosh CD Reciever MCT500

The MCT500 is an American McIntosh CD/SACD player that provides first-class sound quality for music files recorded on disk media. When creating turntables, engineers used innovative technologies and selected components, which allowed to achieve high technical characteristics.
The McIntosh MCT500 is available in massive cases with an anti-resonant stainless steel chassis and a traditional glass facade. The devices have a stylish design, so they fit seamlessly into any modern interiors. In the central part of the front panel is a cast aluminum tray for loading disks, which is characterized by almost silent operation.

The drive uses dual-laser optical heads, which provide disk readout at twice the speed, which eliminates errors. In addition to regular CD-Audio, the transport also supports CD-R/RW. Below the tray on the front panel is a fluorescent display for displaying the necessary information. 

MCT500 players can be paired with any external DAC, and only McIntosh branded chips are needed to read SACD. You can only play SACD discs through the proprietary MCT output. In addition to external DACs, a pre-or integrated amplifier with a built-in digital-to-analog converter can be connected via the connector. The MCT interface guarantees a secure digital connection.

MCT500 can play music files from USB drives, and all thanks to the convenient USB input on the front panel.
On the back wall there are digital balanced, coaxial, optical, MCT outputs. Disk reads are performed at twice the speed, which ensures that tracks are tracked as efficiently as possible and write errors are eliminated.
