An excellent player, both by sound and appearance. This Verak outplayed such cotton brothers like Maratz 5005, Denon, starting from the 520th to the 800th. Very good detail, quick bass, normal resolution of the sound field. I think the best sentence is 70000tr.

The Rotel CD11 Tribute CD-player was designed with direct participation and support from the legendary Ken Ishivata,
using carefully selected and acoustic components.
This made it possible to achieve even higher sound quality and acoustic transparency-to be prepared to play more than 200 million compact disks,
sold throughout the world over the past 30 years.
The player actually received a more “warm” sound after refinement than you can expect from the players of Rotel, while there was sufficient purity and correctness of sound, which will be quite enough for the initial level player from the eminent brand, so much that it can be blew whether it is worth it, whether it is worth it Change later on more expensive Rotel models. But this is already better to solve it independently, after compulsory personal listening and making a decision.
Rotel has been developing and producing CD players since the release of the very first RCD-855 model in 1989 and since then it has never looked back.
Therefore, the possibility of interacting with the audio legend - Ken Ishivata to create an even more high -quality model of the already successful player CD11 was joyfully perceived by groups of Rotel designers. Having more than 40 years of experience in the field of audio equipment, Ken in collaboration with Rotel engineers created really something special - CD11 Tribute Edition.
In the process of working on the CD11 Tribute, critically important changes were made to the power source, the components of the CAP and the components in the audio signal tract were accepted, which ensured an improved sensation of space, increased accuracy, detail and a sense of authenticity of sound.

Pros
A great detail than my failed old NAD 250
Cons
Alas, hard genres do not pull

When the CD plays with overloaded guitar music - a high whisper. For example, the Blue Oyster Cult “Imaginos” of 2008 reprints is generally impossible to listen to.

No matter how popular the stream is today, CD is nevertheless very in demand. Paired with the PM 6007 amplifier looks just gorgeous! Without even having a collection of CDs (they still appear), this device will adorn your setup with dignity.

Pros
Reads SACD and files on DVD and CD.
Cons
It does not recognize CD-Text, not trained in the Cyrillic alphabet. The microcode has never been updated, they could add an alphabet.

An excellent device, I have been using it for several years. It reproduces almost everything that is needed: from rare Audio-CD and SACD to files on rewritten discs, from folk *.mp3 to the aesthetic Hi-ReS formats.
By the way, the device was deprived of Cyrillic, it is not displayed either in the file list or in the text of the tags.
In connection with the worldwide pierce of SACD, I had to master the converting SACD.iso into the *.dsf files and their write on DVD-R. I recommend the result.
The apparatus reproduces musical material correctly, the difference in the information of albums remains is heard.
The apparatus fits well into the line of 1600 and will not bring in tandem with a senior amplifier from the series 2500.
The design is closer to the classics, strict, not minimalistic. He took in black. Prior to this, there was also Denon, a set of mini-hifi blocks in the color of Shampan, I took everything new, in boxes, and the color of the color of the blocks did not match and was insulting. There is no such problem with black.
In height, a player is about 135 mm, which may be a problem in some racks for equipment.
