Accustic Arts Player IV CD player Gold
The PLAYER IV is an absolutely top-class CD player and D/A converter and the successor of the famous PLAYER II – MK2. For the CD module, the new CD Pro-8 as the replacement of the legendary Philips CDPro2 finds application. The important features of the PLAYER IV include 4 digital inputs (XLR, coaxial, optical and USB) and the USB input works according to the latest asynchronous DSD256 technology. The PLAYER IV is not only a top class CD TOP Loader, but also an externally usable D / A converter, which has both a coaxial and an asynchronous USB input for HD audio and DSD. Via these inputs, e.g. a laptop, MAC or PC, but also another digital source device. The heart of the PLAYER IV is the new CD Pro-8 transport, which has been embedded in a massive, resonance-optimized ALU block. The excellent sounding D / A converter used in the PLAYER II works on the sophisticated 32/384 upsampling principle. For optimal connection, the PLAYER IV therefore has symmetrical outputs.
