Wharfedale’s famous Diamond speakers have served as the classic entry point to true high-fidelity sound.
The speaker baskets are equipped with stiffeners, which allows you to leave more free space on the back of the diffuser. The suspensions are made of foam rubber.
Multi-layer body walls made of wood of different densities for damping parasitic resonances.
The Wharfedale Diamond 11.5 floor-mounted speakers are the most advanced model in their line-up and are able to meet the most demanding requirements for bass depth and pressure. The speakers have a three-way configuration and are made in damped cases with a high-quality exterior finish, the proportions of which allow Wharfedale Diamond 11.5 to look organically in a residential interior. With a height of just over a meter, the speakers do not look bulky, and the downward-pointing bass reflex makes it easier to choose the optimal installation location.
The design of the 11 series speakers has been significantly improved to produce even more accurate and balanced sound. To achieve this result, it was possible due to the fact that in the Wharfedale Diamond 11.5, as in other models of the series, the company's engineers used many technical solutions previously used in more expensive models, as well as installed new speakers.
The speakers are equipped with bass speakers with kevlar diffusers, which reduces the lower operating frequency of the Wharfedale Diamond 11.5. The speakers are equipped with powerful magnets to create a uniform field and increase the sensitivity of the speaker, and the bass diffusers are fixed on strong and elastic suspensions made of foam material. Two woofers, powered by its own internal camera, are loaded with a proprietary slotted bass reflex, which has high efficiency and reduced acoustic noise.
The tweeter in the Wharfedale Diamond 11.5 speakers has also been redesigned, and it features a ceramic magnet as well as soft fabric dome. The separation filter in the speaker system is made of selected components, and two pairs of screw terminals are used to connect to the amplifier, providing for the possibility of connecting according to the Bi-wiring scheme.
