The 805 D4 Signature speaker is compact and powerful. It is equipped with optimized technologies, including a diamond dome tweeter mounted in a separate case at the top. This is strong evidence that small things can be beautiful.
This ultra-rigid, high-precision diamond dome tweeter, which perfectly combines lightness, exceptional rigidity and unsurpassed precision, is one of most significant achievements.
The latest incarnation of iconic tweeter-at the top in a massive body features a longer load tube and a new grill design that has been optimized for even freer and more open sound at high frequencies.
The 805 D4 Signature model use upgraded crossover designs that are mounted at the rear on rigid aluminum supports. This isolates sensitive capacitors from unwanted air pressure inside the enclosure and provides very efficient cooling during operation.
The composite design of the Continuum diffuser avoids sudden changes in behavior that degrade the sound of a conventioal speaker. The result is a more open, neutral performance, where voices and instruments are transmitted with high accuracy and transparency.
