In my opinion, the purity and musicality of the sound of this amplifier is unrivaled. Crystal clear, with no hiss or distortion, even when the amp is turned on near full power. Has excellent input/output capabilities. Extremely wide sound field with excellent separation between instruments made listening exciting. I listen almost exclusively to digital music and hear no difference between usb and bluetooth with the CXA81. I compared the CXA81 to the Parasound NewClassic 200, and the CXA81 outperformed the NewClassic. The NewClassic was a bit more detailed, it was much less engaging and sounded just flat in comparison. With the CXA81, the music is much more emotive. The only drawback is the lack of bypass for home theater. Otherwise, this is an amazingly well equipped and incredibly good sounding integrated amplifier.

Pioneer lx505 - the receiver liked it very much, firstly for the sound relative to Marantz, secondly, the menu on the TV screen is much more convenient and prettier designed, the application on the smartphone is much better (you can use it to control the receiver and stream to the receiver, Marantz in heos only has streaming) + FM radio is and Internet radio much more choice of stations than in HEOS. In general, a great receiver. I recommend to buy!

Great value for money. I like that i can choose a number of different speaker layouts, up to the 11.1-channel limitation of the internal processing. The unit supports the usual Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced and comes with Anthem’s proprietary audio calibration system called ARC, with the most recent version of it available here named ARC Genesis. Smoother than most, and gloriously detailed, this only lacks the last ounce of treble extension and air, but the music comes out intact, which is often not the case with high-end usb cables. The front display is a full LCD screen and not the usual dot matrix displays that we are used to see in many AV receivers even today. This virtual tech obviously is not as good and accurate as having real physical speakers and are very much room dependent. The included remote is the same as the previous generation, but that's not a bad thing because it's comfortable to hold and easy to use with one hand.
