Dome can be installed on almost any surface at any angle: on the wall, on the ceiling, on a bookshelf, in a niche, or placed on the floor using special racks, and then unfolded to achieve a better sound. Moreover, Dome can be used in rooms with high humidity (bathrooms, swimming pools).
The Focal Dome Sat 1.0 Flax white shelf speaker system is characterized by an open, light sound character, offering an unobtrusive and extremely natural sound delivery. It is recommended that you carefully choose a subwoofer for your device with heavy bass. Thanks to high-quality emitters, the device has a high sound resolution, demonstrates good transmission of "air" and detailed reproduction of "audiophile" recordings.

I choose this speaker because it's multi-directional and can be fitted to a wall, the ceiling, or a stand with equal ease, it's very comfortable for me and for small apartment. Best compact speaker out there, sounds bigger than it looks. I tried some other box speakers that were a big step back from the IC100s, and was engulfed in sound with the Dome.I use them without the subwoofer and they provide a very mature bass.
