Focal Aria 906 K2 Bookshelf Speaker
The Aria 906 refined high-end acoustics combined with excellent perceived value thanks to the use of noble materials. This 2-way loudspeaker allows users to enjoy all the qualities of the Flax cone: neutrality, presence and finesse. The intention was a return to the very essence of acoustics for those who are passionate about music. Cone are characterized by their natural sound, with low coloration, their richness of reproduction in the midrange register and their tighter bass. The result is a more homogeneous sound, improved dynamics.
For the TNF tweeter, have brought two major evolutions toaluminum/magnesium tweeter. The suspension between the dome and its bracket uses Poron, a material with shape memory.
This suspension method is directly derived from the famous Utopia Beryllium tweeter, making it possible to reduce distortion by a factor of three in the 2-3kHz range, where the human ear has very great sensitivity.
The inverted dome’s spatial characteristics and very low directivity already make it greatly superior to the conventional domes. This guarantees an incredibly stable sound stage which makes the listening position much less critical.
Using a brand new type of material for its woofers, the flax-coned Aria 906 speakers sound totally unique. The material is perfect at reproducing both a natural midrange and precise bass response. Making sure there's plenty of power at the bottom end, oversized magnets keep a tight hand on the cones.
The Aria 906 are a stand-mount design ideal for small to medium sized rooms and a listening distance of around 2.5 metres. For an even smoother finish, magnetically attached speaker grilles are provided.
Placing the bass port at the front rather than the rear of the cabinet, the Aria 906 can be placed closer to the rear wall without losing out on sound quality.
