Electrocompaniet

Electrocompaniet is a Norwegian manufacturer of high-end audio products. Their philosophy of perfect sound has been controversial for 40 years. They base their ideal sound not on technical measurements and theory, but on getting the sound that best matches the live listening experience. 

Since its foundation, the company has been consistently true to the motto: "If sound really matters". Nowadays the Electrocompaniet brand belongs to the Norwegian company Westcontrol, which has fully preserved the high level of quality and EU technology and is engaged in the development and production of various electronic equipment. Electrocompaniet is represented in more than 40 countries, and its products are considered to be among the best in the audio industry. It manufactures a rather extensive list of products: integrated amplifiers, CD player, phono-corrector, digital-to-analog converter, preamplifiers and power amplifiers of various designs. All products have a balanced structure combined with some closed and patented technologies, one of which - Floating Transformer Technology - provides separate and stable cascade power supply, also high quality element base is used (Alps regulators, Takamisawa relays in input circuits, Nippon Chemi-Con capacitors in power supply circuits). All production is carried out at Westcontrol's own facilities in Norway. Another striking feature of the company's products is the strict and refined design.
